JMU X-Labs will host a pop-up workshop April 20 in which students can engrave their own Quad bricks. Students will have the option of engraving picture frames as well.
The university has had struggles with students stealing bricks from the Quad, but this workshop will provide a chance for students to own a regulation Quad brick without being punished by campus police. Those in attendance will use laser engravers to customize their bricks.
X-Labs pop-up workshops are free, non-credit events for students, faculty and community members. Space at the workshop is limited and registration is required.
