The suspects are believed to have taken an undisclosed amount of cash from the 7-Eleven. 

Around 2 a.m. Monday morning, the Harrisonburg Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on North Main Street. 

According to a news release, two suspects entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded cash from an employee. The individuals fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash and were last seen in the area of North Main Street and Commerce Drive. 

A Patrol Unit marked a perimeter surrounding the area, and an HPD K-9 team arrived to track the suspects, who are both described as male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches and wearing dark clothing.

HPD’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information regarding it to call (540) 437-2640.
