The Southview Management Team asks residents to follow the advice and latest information related to the virus from the CDC and WHO.

Residents were greeted with an email from the Southview Management Team on April 21 confirming the first case of the novel coronavirus in the Hills of Harrisonburg complex.

According to the email, the management team was made aware of the case on April 20. Given that this is the first case in the community, the email said the recommendations and guidelines from the CDC concerning the coronavirus “are even more pertinent to our community.”

The email asks residents and community members to follow the advice and latest information related to the virus from the CDC and WHO.

The management team is working closely with government authorities and health officials on how to move forward to limit the possible spread of the virus.
