SGA holds debate between new presidential candidates

Dela Adedze said, “For SGA, my main goal is to improve the brand. A lot of people don't know what SGA does or who they are, and that's something I want to change immediately. You can ask the person next to you who their academic senator is, and they will not tell you because they really don't know. That's something I want to change when, if, I'm SGA president."
The debate was hosted by two moderators who fielded questions to the candidates.
My passion is truly to serve others and not to serve my own resume and my own interests,” said Heidi Deger. “It has allowed me to be open, it has allowed me to truly observe and listen to the student body."
Dela Adedze said “Leadership is being open, taking the time to research and understand everyone's perspective, but also remembering that I have to make tough decisions and a few people might not be able to agree or understand."
Ryan Ritter, a freshman, justified his lack of experience, saying he passed more senate legislation this year than all of the other candidates combined.
