New chairpersons of Harrisonburg's school board open dialogue about the presence of School Resource Officers in the city's schools

The role of School Resource Officers was brought into question last summer amid the nationwide Black Lives Matter protests, with many in the community no longer feeling safe at having armed, uniformed police in schools across the city.
